Fondant Patissier can be used in a wide range of applications. Heat the fondant, preferably in a double boiler, so the fondant becomes pourable - do not place directly over an open flame or the fondant will burn. Once heated - add colors, flavors, cocoa or a fudge base to create your desired icing. You can use fondant as an ingredient in butter cream icing to acheive a more smooth result. Fondant makes a great icing for Cream Puffs, Eclairs , Napoleons, Sweet Rolls, Petit Fours and Cakes.
